Summary:

Players, special, secretive people chosen by the system for unknown reasons. Henry Stickmin is one of those people.

The system has existed alongside humanity for many generations now. No one has dared to stand against it.

But Henry is fed up with the system, and so he retaliates.

Little does he know, his actions will do more than show rebellion to the system…

Any action taken can make or destroy a player.

Chapter 1: Why This Work Exists

Summary:

Why I made this HSC fic. May be updated at some point in time.

A Henry Stickmin Collection AU, because it’s a small fandom and the game is (old, true) but deserves more attention. There’s many opportunities for theories about players, timelines, etc.

I firmly believe this game had similar potential to Undertale, but because of factors such as when it came out, a focus on comedy and memes, and the fact that no one really took it that seriously and looked at lore or angst, it was popular, but eventually died out (as most fandoms do).

I’d say there is definitely still fans, but no active works pertaining to this fandom being released.

That’s where I come in, to hopefully give old and new fans alike a little something new for this dying fandom.

 

Disclaimers (please read): OOC likely due to not enough info on some characters! Also, the game is amazing, and I suggest checking it out before reading this fic! But even if you aren’t here for the storyline, the comedy is great, and the characters are cool.

Also please note once more that this is an alternate universe of the original, meaning that different events happen here. This is a fanfic meant to (try to) promote the game.
