The flowers in Haven Forest were gorgeous. Nalani always liked picking them.
Whenever Jak would come see her, she'd put them in his long hair.
It was strange seeing his hair spiked up. She didn't mind it, though.
And then one day, it was cut short.
She was nervous. Why was it so short? She had to weave the flower for it to stay in.
When he left, and she was all alone, she wept. He was far from the man she met.
She didn't see him ever again after that. The flowers were left to overgrow.
She missed him.
