The Decepticon Ship, the Nemesis is drifting through space, following the path of the Ark and getting closer as time progresses, and flies over Mars
“Alright everyone.” Megatron started off to get everyone’s attention “We will reach the Autobot vessel in a few Astro cycles and I advice you be prepared when we do.”
After finishing his speech Megatron left the bridge again. Starscream and the two Seekers looked at each other nefariously and were talking to each other quietly (probably scheming) and then walked off. Unfortunately for them, one observant communications officer spotted them
”Shadow?” He asked for his conjux’s attention
”Yes?” Shadow Striker asked back
”I’m certain Starscream is plotting something and knowing him it’s not going to be good. Unfortunately I’m currently needed at the bridge, so could you investigate them?” He asked of her
”Yeah, sure. You want me to take the kids. I bet they’d love to ‘interogate’ Skywarp.” Shadow joked
”They are too noisy and not really stealthy. You’re better off with Laserbeak. Laserbeak: Eject. Operation: Reconnaissance.” Soundwave ordered his Minicon to come out of his chest, with the bird landing on his arm
”Ok, if that’s all, then see you around.” Shadow Striker parted
She quietly and slowly followed the path the Seekers were going, with Laserbeak scouring ahead of her. After a few cycles, she got to hearing distance of them
”Have you attached all the bombs?” Starscream asked them
”Yes boss.” Skywarp answered proudly “With the switch of a button, this whole thing will explode.”
”Well, heh, except of course for us.” Thundercracker added timidly
“Great, great.” Starscream praised “When the time comes, Megatron won’t know what hit him.”
”Hold up, I think I forgot a bomb.” Skywarp suspiciously remembered and warped away
”I have to warn the others.” Shadow quietly told herself and turned around only to walk into Skywarp
”Going somewhere?” He asked her
Shadow Striker punched Skywarp in the face and tried to run off but he grabbed her by the leg and threw her back to the others. Shadow got back up but was surrounded with by Starscream and Skywarp with both aiming their Null rays at her. She did consider fighting to her last breath but ultimately self preservation won out and she surrendered
“Has nobody thought you that listening in on others is bad?” Starscream taunted her
”Hey, boss! Look what I found!” Thundercracker proclaimed, raising his arm with Laserbeak stuck by his legs, trying to fly off
”Gggreat.” Starscream praised
”If you think you can blow this ship up, think again Screamer.” Shadow Striker proclaimed in defiance
”And who is gonna stop us? Soundwave? Don’t make me laugh.” Starscream hit back, cackling as he did so “But you do understand, that we can’t let you just roam freely. Freely in the Nemesis that is. Skywarp, Thundercracker! Open a door and let our guests enjoy the beauty of space in its glory.”
The other two Seekers did precisely as they were told and the three threw the femme and bird out of the Nemesis, but not before knocking her unconscious, letting her drift into the vast nothingness. All 3 laughed, watching her become smaller and smaller
They walked back to the Bridge, when they heard gun fire
”Oh, sounds like the battle already started.” Starscream noted
They finally reached the bridge and Soundwave begun looking at them from the side of his eye, while still manning the guns of the Nemesis
”There you are Starscream.” Megatron noted “Their shields are on the bring of failing. After that they will go down with their ship.” Megatron revealed at just the thought of that
”Yes, how pitiful for the leader of one of the two factions to go down in such a pathetic way.” Starscream summarized, with Megatron not even listening in on him
After some more blasts the shields of the Ark finally gave in and the next few blasts would hit the Ark directly. The engine would blow up and the ship would just fall down, being sucked in by the gravity of the closest planet nearby, Earth
”Haha yes! Take that Opti-“ Megatron cheered before an explosion got off on the Nemesis, followed by a few more “What was that!?” He angrily asked
”How incredible. You were so obsessed with another ship, you failed to notice that I’ve rigged this one with explosives.” Starscream explained, with Skywarp teleporting himself and Thundercracker to his sides
A smaller explosions went off next to them, opening a door for them
”Starscream, you little-“
”I’d love to stay but I have a planet to rule over.” Starscream declared
”Really, and how will you get there?” Megatron asked challengingly
”I have my own ways.” Starscream made up
”Incredible. You didn’t think of that.” Megatron almost laughed
”It doesn’t matter! At least I will live to tell the tale.” Starscream hit back before escaping with the other two
Megatron shoot at him but missed him
”Get back here, you coward!” He yelled at them
Just then, Soundwave noticed a bomb on Megatron’s shoulder and rushed to him. Before he got in touching range, the explosive went off, as did some more and now the Nemesis was free falling like the Ark and would crash land on Earth in just the same fation
Further away, Laserbeak was dragging Shadow Striker’s unresponsive body through space and would guide it to Earth to reconnect with the other Decepticons
