Izuku thinks about the wave of hatred-disgust-fear that rose up when Kacchan realised the extent of their fusion, and buries his wet face in his mum’s shoulder.
He doesn’t want to fuse with anyone ever again.
(AU where fusion isn't just a battle strategy; it's a form of affection and trust between loved ones. Izuku always thought fusion was for other people. Not for him. Not for quirkless Deku.

Tim’s exhausted, peering through blurry eyes at surveillance footage, hand groping for his coffee mug. He brings it up to his mouth, tips it, and—nothing comes out. He glances down in confusion, only to feel disappointment.
Empty.
Setting the mug down, he rubs at his eyes. The footage hasn’t made much sense for an hour or more, and he needs to figure this out, needs to know who’s been targeting them, but—
Coffee. Or bed?
The hair on the nape of his neck prickles, and he turns just as he feels an actual prick on his neck.

On the night of their graduation, the 104th recruits have a wild celebration and get drunk. Really drunk. None more drunk than Those Three. (And they are crazy drunks.)
The last anyone sees of them, they are in full 3DMG and hurtling themselves off Wall Rose, screaming something about seeing the ocean.
The next morning, the hangover is impressive, three graduates are missing, and a path of destruction leads away from Wall Rose.
As for Armin, Eren and Mikasa, they wake up at the ocean. They're not sure how they got there, but getting back is one hell of an adventure. There may have been some cults founded. Armin might be an evil mastermind. And, hey, Eren can turn into a Titan. That might just be the least weird part.
