“Please, call me Ramon.” the older man insists, tone jovial. “I was calling to invite you to dinner tomorrow night, we made reservations at some fancy place the wife wants to try and I thought I would see if my son’s boyfriend would like to join us.”
“B-boyfriend? I--uh, well, that is--we’re not--” Buck stumbles to get the words out, since he’s not quite sure what to say to that.
