Summary
The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.
There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
“Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

Tony snapped his fingers twice, and the same curtain he’d walked out from behind earlier started shifting.
“It is my great pleasure to introduce all of you to my Proprietary Electronic Two-factor Experiential Robot. Or, as I like to call him, P.E.T.E.R.”
And with a dramatic flourish of Tony’s hand, the curtain finally parted and out walked what was unmistakably...A teenage boy.

“Open it,” Natasha says. She’s now standing opposite of Tony and Steve, her arms crossed over her chest as she stares at the hologram in anticipation. The video plays without a beat of hesitation. It’s footage from a security camera poised at the top corner of a room. Tony immediately recognizes it as the bland, white solitary room from the first video, but instead of three masked men in white, there’s a figure sitting upright in the bed. Despite the low quality, Tony can immediately tell its a young boy, no older than 16 years old, sitting on the bed with his head hung low and hands tangled in the sheets pooled in his lap. He can only see the side of the kid’s face which is completely covered by a mess of curly, matted brown hair.
As the video carries on, the boy doesn’t move. He sits still in that bed like a statue, so still that Tony thinks for a moment that it’s a freeze-frame rather than a clip. A heavy feeling settles into his gut. He should’ve listened. “A child,” he says, somehow standing angry, confused, and dumbfounded all at once.

Summary
The gauntlet falls into Peter’s hands on the battlefield, and instead of passing it on, he snaps. Through that choice he is burdened with more power and responsibility than he could have imagined. He is going to need Tony and the rest of his newfound family to help him manage it.
He's got to learn new facets of his nature, things he never imagined he would face, and he needs to hide from the people that would take him and his new power and turn it into a weapon.

Awesome Spider Powers? Of course!
Having to pay the bills on a terrible government salary?Nobody told Peter that being in SHIELD was just an excuse for basically free child labor. Or that his landlady would be a psycho ex-agent who gassed those who paid rent late.
Honestly, if HYDRA had better pay, Peter might just flip.
Just kidding, Uncle Fury would drag him back and dock his pay.Being a teenaged agent was hard, but nothing Peter couldn't handle. If only he didn't catch the attention of a certain super hero team. At least he could free-load off of them!
