Summary
Oliver Queen is an actor starring in an action TV series. He is enduring an unhappy marriage for his child. Years ago he fell in love with his then co-star, Felicity Smoak. Their love has grown over the years and the two have determined they are meant to be together but Oliver needs to face the truth and deal with his marriage and his current wife, Laurel Lance Queen.
Felicity Smoak has moved on to other projects. She is still very much in love with Oliver, misses him, but is trying to learn to live without him.
So what happens when a stunt goes wrong during the television production and Oliver is left living with a futuristic amnesia and the key to his happiness and recovery is a continent away?

When Felicity Smoak moves to Starling City and attends a new high school, she expects things to be hard on her, she is twelve after all. But then she meets new friends and life becomes easier. What isn't so easy is growing up.
Oliver Queen met Felicity when she was twelve and he treated her as nothing more than a friend, well, except for when his big brother tendencies kicked in. Until one day, something in his life changed. He looked at Felicity as she was growing up and began to realize that he didn't want her as a friend anymore.
By the time, Oliver was man enough to admit his feelings for Felicity, he went away on the Queen's Gambit.
This is a multi-chapter au fic that follows Oliver and Felicity through high school and until the Gambit leaves.

The question pushes Felicity’s mind into overdrive, her heartbeat increasing as panic sets into her bones. She doesn’t know how to answer this question without sending herself down the deep end, because for one, she could say the wrong thing and disappoint her daughter, or she could also say the wrong thing and give her false hope. Parenting a child with a man you’re not with but had a one night stand with once that resulted in said child is hard. Who would’ve thought?
