Summary
Myth says Hermes lulled Argus Panoptes to sleep, then killed him without a fight.
Myth is wrong.
Argus wakes. He gets one good hit in before Hermes ends him for it, and gods don’t bleed for nothing. When Hermes washes the ichor from his skin at Trikrena, the spring where the nymphs first bathed him, something in the water answers back.
Somewhere else, Luke is dying with a Titan screaming inside his skull.

Hermes never had a son who remembers dying

Summary
He killed himself to make it right. It should have ended there.
Instead, Luke came back. Now golden ichor flows in his veins, wings ripping through his mortal flesh to brand him as the very thing he loathes: a god. Though the world calls to him, he remains a caged bird, jealously guarded by a father who had kept him locked away while the whispers of a new war stirred in the dark.
Then, a tentative peace arrives.
The cage cracks open, and Luke's leash extends just enough for him to carry lost children through the dark. But Olympus hasn't forgotten its hatred, and the Light burns with old grudges. Luke is supposed to stick to his duties, but that’s the problem: when a call echoes out from San Francisco, the forbidden West his father repeatedly warned him against, he should have just ignored it.
But since when did Luke ever listen to the gods?
(Or: Luke ascends. It’s lonelier than he expected, worship is unsettling, and the Roman gods are watching—with interest.)
Note: Roman gods ≠ Greek gods

Summary
A faint hum, a fuzz of white noise, started in Jason’s brain sometime during the ruckus. Its volume grows now as the lobby clears out and the chatter quiets down.
For a few moments as the spy staggered towards the window, maybe twenty feet away from Jason, the distant side profile of his face looked– familiar.
───
It's been four years since the family lowered Dick's coffin into the ground, and Jason finally feels like he’s settling into his new job with the BAU. That is, until two people part of an illusive group called ‘Spyral’ arrive in custody.
aka. Jason works for the BAU and Dick hasn't come back from Spyral.

Summary
"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

“How did you know of this chest Sam?” Jon´s eyebrows were drawn together in a frown.
“hummm…oh uh well maester Aemon told me to give this chest to you when he died. He said that you would most likely be in need of them.” Sam answers with a shrug.
Jon stared at Sam with a frown painted on this face. What could maester Aemon possibly wanted to give him. (This story is also published on fanfiction.net under the pen name Naerys Blackfyre.)

Summary
In one path, the Hand waited for their enemies to come to them. This is not that story. The Defenders realize that The Hand's plans for NYC are far more sinister than anticipated as the Hand decide that the best way to deal with the four heroes is to attack them first. (Fix-it fic for the latter half of the “Defenders” series.)

Summary
Something about Danny had sounded off on the phone when he called about coming into Rand Enterprises. Admittedly something had been off with Danny ever since he came back from the dead as a ninja, but he sounded even more weird than he normally did. So, he packed his bags, got his assistant to rearrange everything and headed home. What Ward wasn’t expecting was a police car waiting for him as he got off the plane.

“I have given you an incredible gift,” Harold tells him, settling his hand on Ward’s shoulder, fingers digging in deep. “The least you could do is try to appreciate it.”
Or: Ward has telekinetic abilities. It's not really a big deal, until it is.
