Oh, Subaru wants to kill Natsuki Subaru, just to make that fear go away. Subaru wants to kiss him, too. Kiss the wound, pour salt into it, and then slap on a bandaid and worship the ground he walks on.
Everyone does. Everyone fucking loves Natsuki Subaru. Subaru can see it just in the way they look at Natsuki Subaru like he’s their entire world.
Bullshit. Natsuki Subaru is his. The lines between becoming him and loving him have always, always been blurred, and Subaru couldn’t give any less of a shit about which came first.
When a time traveler from an alternate universe appears in Subaru's life, he’s simultaneously horrified and entranced. Things only escalate as the stranger expresses an obsessive interest in him, and Subaru finds himself compellingly attracted in return. But how can Subaru come to terms with the fact that it’s an alternate universe version of… himself?????

The cast of Re:Zero is still stuck in a theater (I know right?), but instead of watching Subaru's journey some more, they will instead view an alternate timeline entirely. How will they cope when they see their beloved Subaru once again thrown into a hellish situation and will he be successful as he faces off against deadites?
*pretty much the plot of Evil Dead II with Subaru replacing Ash. I changed a few things here and there as well. This is in the form of a one-shot, but it is the complete movie with reactions along the way.

Kazuma didn’t know where Subaru was. But with Aqua’s warning, he decided he should quickly find Subaru. Something told him that if he found Subaru too slow, it was going to be too late.
Walking fast (why is running the hallway against the school rules, dang it!) around the empty hallway and checking each room, Kazuma finally found the familiar track suit tossed in the corner of an empty classroom. Kazuma noticed that something was wrong. Quickly bolting into the classroom, he also noted that Subaru didn't react at all.
And that was when he noticed the puddle of blood that was pooling around Subaru.
Subaru gets his arc 4 memories back. People notice.

“Cardinal—!” Emilia flings out her hand.
Ice spears him through the chest. It doesn’t hurt, not really. Instead he’s swept away in a wave of rocking, undulating darkness—complete and all-encompassing relief.
—Subaru wakes up.
He stares at the wall. “What just—” He cuts himself off.
Natsuki Subaru, Archbishop of Pride, average-everyday shut-in NEET, stares up at the ceiling. “What was that,” he says flatly to himself. Himself being the Archbishop of Pride. Himself being Subaru, a pathetic hermit crab of a human being.
