Intro:
"Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery mediocrity can pay to genius." -Charles Caleb Colton & Oscar Wilde (Colton wrote the first half; Wilde the second, but you could've guessed that, right?)
There have been so many quality fics submitted as part of the Rare Pairs Flash Comps.... So many little bites at unusual pairings or unexpected partners! We have always said at the end of each two week spree that we want to know more. So, now, it's time for more!
This is a fest of sequels, prequels, midquels, deleted scenes, alternate endings, origin stories, AUs and more!

FAQ:
+Can I use my own work to compose a sequel? YES! As long as it has been submitted to a previous Flash Comp.
+Where can I find past Rare Pair Flash Comps to choose from? The Rare Pair Discord #flash-comps-archived is the best place!
+Do I have to get permission to write a sequel? Yes! You absolutely need permission from the original author. Check out the list posted on the Discord, or ask the person directly. (If you are a past participant, you can feel free to add your name to the list giving blanket permission to use your previous flash comp contributions.)

Rules:
+Your work must be connected to a previous submission to a Rare Pairs Flash Comp. All previous RPFCs are acceptable, but the work must be connected to a submission—(a piece written by an RPFC member that was NOT submitted to a Flash Comp is not acceptable).
+The original author must give permission to use their work as inspiration. See the list of regular RarePairs contributors who have blanket permissions on their AO3 profile, but you are not limited to these people. You may contact any past participant you wish for permission.
+You MUST link your work back to the original work using the “Inspired by” tick in the Associations section of the posting page. Tick the box for “This work is a remix, a translation, a podfic, or was inspired by another work” and fill in the information.
+Readers MUST read both the original (if they haven’t yet already) and the new submission.
+One prompt per person
+Five people per prompt (Each prompt can be claimed a maximum of five times)
+MAX word count is 2000. No minimum.
+Works must be tagged appropriately, but any content/rating is acceptable.
+No AI-generated content may be included in any way or form.
+Contributors (to this FC) must be members of the RPFC Discord (if a past contributor you plan to use as an inspiration has since left the Discord, it’s fine as long as their work was part of a previous flash comp).
+MAX Contributors this round: 15!
!Kudos and comments recommended, naturally!
+One alpha and beta reader is allowed, but otherwise please keep work anonymous till the reveals.
