Summary
Tim hated cuddle pollen. He really did. That didn't mean he reached out to anyone in the throws of it, though. In fact, he actively hid the fact that he was hit.
He agreed to drive Red Hood's bike back to the Cave despite the cold. He'll end up regretting it.

Summary
"What do you want him to do?" Drake snapped. "Admit that he's a little bit worried about you because you fucking died?"
Damian was on his feet before he knew what happened. He couldn't breathe for the hate burning in his chest. How dare Drake talk about it. How dare he preach as though he agreed. "I'm surprised you pretend to give a fuck, Drake," he hissed, derision and bitterness dripping from the words. "I...I would have thought you were happy I was gone!"
He didn't think about the words until after they left his mouth, after the Cave was deadly silent and the sentence echoed through the room, hung in the air like smoke. Drake's chest was heaving, but he didn't say a word, and his eyes were so dark that Damian actually took a step back in irrational fear. Abruptly, Drake shoved his chair back with a screech, and left without a word, his footsteps resounding through the cave. Damian watched him go, numb.

Summary
For a detective, it takes Tim an embarrassingly long time to realize what’s happened. It’s whatever, he thinks. Let them ignore him. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t care. He doesn’t care.
He’s so busy telling himself not to care that he only realizes that this is something — that something is actually, for real, wrong — weeks later, when he goes to the gala for the new hospital and Dick looks straight through him. Dick. Dick Grayson just blanks Tim, completely. It’s like getting shot through the heart.

Summary
"It had been a while since he had spoken with someone who was his age, with all his schooling done online for peak ability. It was convenient, in all ways but social. Everyone in the world he had inserted himself in were either old, murderous, or just people he didn’t like very much. It was nice to know that there’d be someone around his age to confide in, maybe be friends with. Or consider a brother.
That was until Damian stabbed him, which very quickly put all those thoughts to a screeching halt worthy of a concussion headache as he sputtered and bled out from his midsection."

Summary
The shadow is a silhouette on the edge of the roof. She can’t see his eyes behind the blank white lenses of his cowl, but she can feel the cunning weight of his gaze as it rakes over her, a pair of predators recognizing one another. She keeps her posture relaxed. She looks back at him with steady eyes.
She is not prey.
She will not allow the kind boy behind her to be prey either.

That doesn't make it a big deal.

'Everything crystalized and solidified in his mind as all the data converged. There it was, the answer he’d been looking for since the night he’d come down to find Damian in Robin red, green, and gold. He guessed he was finally ready to see it, instead of turning away and clinging to the past. Clinging to a relationship that no longer existed.'

Seven times Tim and Dick didn't reconnect, and how Tim still managed to heal, find love, and cleanly break from the Bats without them realizing.

Summary
"This is Damian" Talia says as she puts a hand on his shoulder. "After his allience with Bane, my father no longer considered Damian's lineage suitable for the Demon's Heir, casted him out of his family, removing him from under my protection as well."
She doesn't say more, but Tim's not stupid and he can read between the lines and the kid's, Damian's state speaks for itself. Tim is not overly familiar with the ways of the League, but he can imagine many disgruntled assasins would like to take their grudges against Ra's out on a kid who's no longer under the Demon's Head protection.
Or: Talia decides Damian can't stay with the League after the events of Legacy and Tim just happens to be in Paris at the right time to gain a little bother

Betrayed by what remains of his family, Tim happily stays away, vowing to his son that he will never have to be exposed to the Bats. Or; 5 times Tim has no choice but to introduce his son to a member of his family, +3 times he does so gladly.

Summary
Tim always gave them names. He never told anyone that he named them all. He never mentioned how he would spend all night awake in his bed when the large letters of "ATTEMPT UNSUCCESSFUL” appeared on the screen.
It wasn’t like Tim could just leave and go outside. Tim was only allowed to go to the lab with the white walls and green tubes.
Tim just wanted a friend to talk to. He was so tired of being alone.
