"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)

“Oh, stop it, Clark. You are not his family,” Dick snapped, "I won't torture Bruce for your unhealthy need to always be a hero!”
Clark was stunned, as if he couldn't believe Dick, of all people, was speaking to him that way. Dick, who since he was a child had always looked up to Superman as a role model, who had shaped Nightwing as much by the legacy of Batman as Superman.
The Kryptonian's gaze hardened, "I love him more than any of you ever have.”
(Bruce has little time left. Clark and Dick cope, or rather, don't cope, with the loss the best way they know how.)

Summary
"Why are you here, Nightwing?" Superman's voice was calm but firm as he spoke. He didn't even turn around, all his attention on the man lying on the bed, gripping his hand. He touched him as if he were the most precious thing in the world. Dick didn't want to look: Bruce shouldn't be like this, immobile, surrounded by machinery.
"I'm here for him," Dick said, standing in front of the bed, still looking at Superman, because he couldn't see his father Bruce in that way.
Superman made a contemptuous noise, completely out of place for him, "And obviously, you're alone. Where are the others? Minding their own business?"
Dick curled his lip, defensive. "Someone had to stay in Gotham, you know."
"If my father had been saved from a cult that wanted to sacrifice him to an alien god, I'd be right there with him," the alien said angrily. "But apparently, he doesn't even deserve that grace, does he?"
(Batman was a legend. Batman was invincible. But Bruce Wayne was just a man, and Dick wasn't ready to face the chance of seeing another parent die, without being able to tell him he didn't hate him.)

Summary
Peter didn’t know what he expected when Doctor Strange did the final spell above the Statue of Liberty (after all, it was hard to imagine a life where his girlfriend and best friend didn’t know him), but it certainly wasn’t to be sent to a whole different universe in a vastly different city with entirely different heroes and vigilantes. He also wasn’t expecting to find an alternate universe version of his biological dad still alive, either, but apparently this was his life now. Whether this was a good or bad thing was still up for debate.
OR, Peter Parker gets sent to Gotham City in one last attempt by Doctor Strange to keep the multiverse from destroying New York City. The events that follow are interesting, to say the least.

He’s nine again– nine and new and knows so many things now so rather than try to go back–
He thinks he has the chance to make things right.
The bright blue trainers he puts on are a pair he hasn’t worn in forever, something he never thought about after he grew out of them (will grow out of?) a year from now, and sets off into the night and into the rain.
The plan he has in his brain is not really a plan, moreso just a couple of half thrown ideas and maybe five steps into building back the life he had in the most painless way he could.
Maybe, he thinks, maybe this plan can start off with the family he misses– because he’s sixty and most of them too injured or too old or too dead–
Call him selfish but he misses them. He would rather find them than get himself back into that lonely existence he called a life before he woke up at nine.
Dick makes do because that’s all he can do really.

Tim has a panic attack in the BatCave, and calls Kon for help. The grounding and recovery part goes well. The part where Damian finds them in bed the next morning, and announces it to the entire breakfast table?
That part goes significantly less well.

Summary
Peter should have known better. He did know better. Doctor Banner had warned him against it. He had ignored the man’s advice, and now people—his people—were suffering due to his actions. Jean had emphasised that people like them don't get to live normal lives. He had tried so hard to prove otherwise, only to hurt her in the process.
"I have no one."His grip on her hand tightens. She has him. They're in this together. Peter takes the lead, guiding her across the unfamiliar rooftops of this unfamiliar city.
Peter had created this power. He had gotten them into this situation. He would get her out of it.
As was his responsibility.
The creation of the universal power inhibitor had unforeseen consequences. Now in an unknown universe with a traumatised teen leaning on him for support, Peter vows to get Jean back to their home no matter what.
Meanwhile, Damian Wayne makes an effort to get to know his new classmate who is most certainly a meta with a perilous home life. He assumes the fault lies with her flippant guardian, but upon meeting the man Damian realises that the situation may be a lot bigger than he had first anticipated.
