Dagmar had gotten the phone call. She'd called him in turn, and together he and Gus and Karin had sat in her office whilst she explained the news to them with steady, careful clarity.
Lars was autistic.
That's why he was the way that he was.
His face is hidden, dipped down into the scuff of his duvet. His whole bed's a mess, a tangle of sheets and blankets kicked aside, one of his pillows tucked down against his body.
Something's off, about the image. It keeps Karin stuck by the door, and when she speaks again it comes out hesitant, unsure.
"Are you sick?"

Summary
The notes blur together and you can't make sense of anything but how loud they are, all the words you've learned meaningless. You could go grab your laptop, but that would mean moving from the comfortable little ball you've curled yourself into, so that's not happening. Rocky lets out a piercing trill when all you do is stare blankly at him - that, you recognise. He's worried. When you flinch at the sound, he rolls closer.
Grace gets overstimulated. Rocky tries to help. It works out better than either of them expects.

“Hello, Mr. Grace,” she said, not bothering to extend her hand out to greet him, “I’m Eva Stratt with the Petrova Taskforce which, if you are not otherwise aware, operates in tandem with the United Nations."
Oh? The Petrova Taskforce? A short while before he’d fucked off to somewhere, Ryland had explained to Colt something about the Petrova Line, so it sounded distantly familiar. And incredibly not important to anything Colt would ever be involved in.
He was confused.
“Uh. Hi. You already know my name, so…”
She raised an eyebrow for half a second, then lowered it again.
“It was given to me by your brother, Dr. Ryland Grace.”
(Ryland isn't taking care of himself. Eva Stratt enlists his twin brother Colt to do it for him.)

Summary
Driver likes Colt. It’s sort of despite himself. Colt is loud, and talkative, and free with his touches. Normally– especially in combination– these are all traits Driver hates to have directed at his person.
(Driver’s hearing a human heartbeat. He didn’t know it could sound like that, from this close).
Still, Colt becomes something special to Driver’s life one unremarkable day on set.
Or, Driver gets his first proper hug from his coworker.
