  Summary

  Shadow the Hedgehog, the Ultimate Life Form, is a member of the military strike unit Team Dark. G.U.N is changing fast under new management, and the team is struggling to find its place within the complex military agency. But when Shadow comes down with a mysterious virus, what was once a dangerous power struggle becomes a fight for survival.

  Summary

  Shadow may have left White Space behind, but his past isn't done with him yet. His genes have been irreversibly altered by his now-dormant Doom Powers, and when Black Doom appears before him in a vivid nightmare, a biological clock begins counting down to the rebirth of the Black Arms' leader. Shadow's body is now a vessel for the continuation of Black Doom's bloodline, but it doesn't matter whether he is carrying a child or a parasite, because his goal still remains unchanged: to thwart his progenitor's ambitions at any cost.

  Summary

  In the aftermath of White Space, Shadow has resumed his work as a G.U.N. agent to distract himself from his grief. But civil unrest is brewing in the streets of Central City, and tensions are rising at headquarters. When G.U.N. asks Shadow to work with a children's hospital to help them avert a public-image crisis, he is confronted with his past once again. Even though this PR stunt was clearly designed to exploit his history and Maria's story, Shadow realises that it could also allow him to pursue his original purpose as a cure. But as he searches for new meaning in the hospital's corridors, his past becomes mainstream news; corruption seeps through the cracks in GUN's facade, and the shadow of Space Colony Ark looms over humanity once again...

  Summary

  When Shadow's nightmares get increasingly worse after returning from White Space, Rouge decides to stage an intervention, and she gives him a dream journal. He resists her efforts at first, but then he begins to write, and the line between dreams and reality begins to blur. As he continues to transcribe the horrors of his past, present, and future, Shadow realises that the only way to truly escape his nightmares is to wake up and write them down.
