Summary
Grief can do awful things to someone. It can cause them to hurt the ones they love. It can usher in whirlwinds of pain. It can alter your body chemistry and lead to your own creations becoming wretched reminders. That’s exactly what’s happening to Doctor Shikishima, and it causes him to unleash a new invention. One which will allow everyone to feel his pain, and of course, reunite him with his long deceased comrade.
A story of Shikishima and his relationship with Shotaro, as well as the boys late father. A story of angst, psychological horror, suicidal ideation, and self pity.

I wrote Tetsujin angst because it’s my comfort anime and the world sucks. I also love psychological horror and angst, and had the perfect idea! Title is from my favourite Yoko Takahashi song.

Midoriya heads into the office of UAPNN (aka UA PLUS NEWS NETWORK), receiving a greeting from his boss Ochaco Uraraka. He returns it and seats himself in his cubical chair. The first thing he does everyday when he arrives at work is check the employee email for any upcoming assignments before reviewing his previous assignments photo folders for submission. Izuku notices Ochaco has emailed him an upcoming date for a music venue, attaching all the info he needs to photograph this event. He notices it's PRETTY big, not like the in-between small and medium venues he's been assigned recently, speaking of recently, he wonders why UAPNN is suddenly so focused on musical events. But he doesn't have any trips to make this work day, so he spends it submitting folders. how fun.
