It’s the 16th of May, 1969 AD, and Terry Jones is getting ejected from the wrap party of Do Not Adjust Your Set following an incident where he may have described his conversational partner as “aesthetically paleolithic.” In his defense, he’s been a bit preoccupied ever since he received a time machine (almost certainly a practical joke), and he was exceedingly drunk.
Nevertheless, Eric Idle and Michael Palin have found themselves similarly banished, and their plan to dump Terry at home and carry on with their revelry is thwarted by the arrival of their soon-to-be-castmate John Cleese, who becomes quickly intrigued by Terry’s talk of temporal tampering and – to Eric and Michael’s dismay – insists on a demonstration.
It is now the 16th of May, 500 AD, and the very functional time machine has scattered the cast across ancient Britannia, forcing them to rely on their acting wits to blend into medieval society! Who will starve? Who will come down with the plague? Who will break out in nasty, big, weeping boils?!
And most important of all: Who will serve King Arthur as his truest and noblest of knights!
Er– probably not the Pythons, but they’ll give it a go!

Patsy and Delia are roommates and a fair bit besides that. Stuck in a rut without an obvious out (if you discount the unlikely event that one of them starts talking) general confusion and angst ensues.
This started out as a one shot and grew so now it’s a bit bigger I’m giving it its very own home. I’ve whipped through and changed little bits where I felt I’d been lazy so in other words; as Sister Bernadette told Julienne. “Forgive me for I have been twiddling.”
