Weiss shoots upright.
It’s silent, utterly and completely, silent.
She huffs, gasps, in and out, over and over and over as she attempts to unscramble the mess that is her brain.
It’s dark, but not as dark as her room was, and her bed is noticeably less cold.
She keeps huffing for breath, for some reason, it feels as if her heart is attempting to escape her chest, like each heaving motion can’t bring in enough oxygen for her lungs. She gasps and splays her hands across her chest in an attempt to feel the rising and falling and convince herself that she’s okay, that she’s all in one piece.
But she can’t hear anything else.

Subtle gestures, a hand on Regina’s knee, calming words, and shared glances which eventually, reveal their secret relationship. When Snow confronts them, her outburst triggers a panic attack in Regina, leaving the family shocked by her vulnerability. Ruby steps in, protecting and comforting her girlfriend. The evening ends with a shaken but determined Snow promising to better understand Regina’s struggles and the love she and Ruby share.

Summary
Just a collection of RWBY ideas and drabbles that basically hinge on the idea that I love my girls and just want them all to hug at this point. Some are loosely connected, others completely off-kilter, we'll see where I go with this.
Sedatephobia is a prequel to A Schnee By Any Other Name, but you do not have to read one to understand the other, and they don't even really have to be connected if you don't want them to, just thought I'd try to flesh out my Weiss Headcannons a little bit more.

She had barely breached acquaintances with one of the few people in town who didn’t glare daggers at her when she walked into a room, the last thing she needed to do was something asinine like develop feelings for the girl.

Henry starts riding the bus to school and Regina kinda hates it until she realizes his bus stop just so happens to be in the middle of Ruby Lucas's morning running route. Staying neutral is proving to be much more difficult than planned, especially when Ruby keeps accidentally endangering herself in Regina's presence. Set in the winter following the first curse.
