Unlike other volunteers Frank has met, however, this one does not seem to expect a reply at all. He doesn’t press. He just pours the soup in the cup, filling it to the brim – another thing Frank rarely sees volunteers doing. Maybe they have extra food today, or not many people came here. Lucky day, after all.
