In the sleepy and secluded small town of Barrow, Alaska — the northernmost settlement in North America — its citizens are preparing for the annual coming of the Dark, when the sun will set for more than thirty consecutive days and nights.

From across the frozen wasteland, a horrifying evil that which thirsts for blood descends upon Barrow, mercilessly besieging its residents with unrelenting terror and swift death. Bored out of their mind, OMORI and STRANGER decide to visit a peculiar machine that helps crank engaging narrative plot lines to keep them entertained, although unbeknownst to them, their quick little detour might just turn into some king of neverending story as it slowly gets out of control.
