A little writing practice for me with my ships, now featuring Yoimiya and Ayaka in the middle of a political upturn. Ayaka gets kidnapped unexpectedly from a meeting and since Yoimiya also gets involved (and she's worried af), she joins the investigations. I usually get tangled up in plotting (happened here) so it might make less sense than it seems at first, but I tried my best to keep everything according to plan. They are so close. She can feel it in the rippling, staticky air around them, in every rush of an inhale through the network of her lungs and back out again.
Rumi’s voice rings strong and true, and in such immaculate harmony with the two women at her side as their weapons arch like the perfectly-tended knife-edge of a reaper’s scythe through the swarm of demons.
Rumi pushes. And with a reluctance she had always assumed was a phantasm of her own mind, the manifestation of her own frustration towards their seemingly impossible goal, the Honmoon pushes back.
