Summary
Rocky didn't mention the asteroid belt surrounding Erid's Solar System. After a meteor collides with the Mary, Rocky suffers a fall and is out for the count. Grace knows very little Eridian, but by God, he's gonna get his friend some help.
It's just too bad the Eridians think they're talking to a pebble.

Summary
The arrival at Erid is a momentous occasion. Rocky is excited and thrilled. Ryland is overwhelmed. But the reunion is happy, beautiful, amazing.
Or that's what it should have been. Except Rocky gets hurt, Ryland is left to try and communicate with an alien planet, and everyone is scrambling to figure out how to do this. To Grace, this is incredible but also bittersweet - he got Rocky home safely with the taumoeba, now he just gets... to starve. To Erid, this is insane - how did Rocky show up in an alien spaceship with a child???
...
Ryland Grace is stuck trying to speak Eridian, immediately makes himself sound like a child, and Rocky's world and family scramble to help this strange pebble. Misunderstandings galore, alongside hurt/comfort and angst and fluff.

We start off shortly after the speech Odin gave his two sons about the war against the Frost Giants, and a young Loki who is too impatient to really learn how his magic acts when forced. He wakes up alone and on a strange Realm with stranger people, Heimdall doesn't react.
Wandering off, he accidentally stumbles across Stark Tower....it's really better than the summary promises...

Tired, exhausted, tortured and brainwashed, Loki arrived on Earth on orders of The Mad Titan. He had to get the Tesseract. We all know what happened after that.
BUT ......What if in an Alternate Universe, the ending of the Avengers went a little differently? What if Thor and Loki did not immediately leave for Asgard? What if the other Avengers were not convinced to give up the Tesseract quite so easily?
