Summary
Yeonjun is five when Kai bursts into his life like violent sun rays through thin curtains. He’s just moved into a new place—a cozy, modest apartment on the fifth floor, big enough to fit himself and his parents and small enough to feel like a countryside home.
A new home means a new school, however. And a new school means having to make new friends.
Kai is something different, though. He approaches Yeonjun on his first day of school, when it’s recess and he has his knees drawn up to his chest, separated from the other kids by a silver fence and a timid heart.
He doesn’t bother with a hi, but with a question: “Why are you here alone?”

Enduring a tumultuous home and lonely life, Yeonjun turns to Kai during his darkest times. And somehow, he's always there when Yeonjun needs him the most.
Until he isn't.

Its feel like as if kai is part of yeonjun, kai is him only, just that one part of him that believed in himself and his mind subconsciously made that part into a person

Summary
The baby stops crying the moment he realizes that he’s not alone. His arms reach for Yeonjun, and Yeonjun picks him up, almost as if compelled by the baby’s big shiny eyes.
From the door, Taehyun, Kai, and Soobin look on with wary. It’s Taehyun who speaks, “Hyung, what do we do?”
Yeonjun remembers suddenly the rollercoaster of events and emotions that he’d been subjected to in the past five minutes. He looks back down at the baby, who looks at him with a familiar innocent smile.
“Oh god,” Yeonjun says with horror, having connected the dots, “Beomgyu?”
The BigHit curse strikes again, turning beloved TOMORROW X TOGETHER member into a baby.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Yeonjun scowls. He glares at Soobin through the small space of the door, one hand clutching the doorknob, the other reaching for the gun.
“Delivering takeout, what else?” Soobin says, voice lilt with snark.
“Don’t come near me. I’m going to fucking kill you.”
Soobin laughs. He crosses his arms and leans against the wall. “Kill me… like, in a sex way?”
