"You'll like him," Felix had assured her.
If only he'd been wrong.
And then she realizes that she's staring down at him with all the same intensity as he's staring up at her. He looks absolutely wrecked—flushed and breathless and drenched in her, and she wants so desperately to kiss him deep and then shove him back between her legs. She could keep him there until morning, she's sure of it; he might have let her keep him there forever if it weren't for Felix having caught his attention first.
"Satisfied?" she whispers to him, unable to look away. "Or still hungry?"
"Starving," he murmurs back.
Kitty stares down at him a moment longer—then pulls back the hand that's pushing him away.
"Keep your promise," she warns him.
Ollie nods, ravenous.
Then tucks in to feast again.

Summary
Things are finally looking up for Delphi. She's got a shiny new last name, she's turned her best friend into her boyfriend, and she's proven to herself that it doesn't matter who her father is—she can rise above her family legacy so long as she's got the nerve to try. She can be an Heir of Slytherin without being a monster, and just because she's the daughter of a Dark Lord and a Black, it doesn't mean she's doomed.
Or does it? Delphi had hoped that the worst of her Hogwarts years were over now that Lord Voldemort is no longer hiding beneath professors’ turbans or in first years’ bookbags—but that was before the news broke about Sirius Black’s escape from Azkaban.
Now on top of all the stress of the past two years, Delphi will have to deal with more new classes than can fit into a single school day, soul-sucking dementors running rampant on the grounds, and the awful fact that there’s a murderer coming after Harry once again—only this time it’s not her father but her cousin who wants his head.
And between this stark reminder of all the madness in both sides of her family and Professor Trelawney’s constant talk of prophecy, Delphi has to wonder: what if there really is such a thing as fate?

Summary
