Summary
In a universe where Sergio "Kun" Agüero's heart condition was diagnosed much earlier, as a teenager, he never made it far in professional football. Never got called up for the national team. Never met Lionel Messi.
Until now, over a decade later. Introduced to 'Leo' at a party, he and Kun hit it off and begin dating. There are just two problems. First: after collapsing on the pitch and having his career stripped away from him, Kun wants nothing to do with football.
The second is that he has no idea his new boyfriend is the best footballer in the world.

Summary
There was something rustling around in Cuti's backpack. It had woken the defender in the middle of the night. At first he had thought that a mouse had gotten into their room.
Shrp shrp
There was definitely something moving in his bag.
In the pale light of his phone flashlight he spied inside. The little Messi plush he had gotten from a fan earlier this morning was buried head first in the bag of Alfajores, munching on one of them.
Wait what?!or:
The Leo plush gifted to Cuti suddenly comes to life.Series

Summary
There was a bang on the door before it was forcefully being opened. “You're all crazy!” Someone practically ran outside. “I'm leaving.” Lisandro Martínez ran outside to catch the man, wait— the running man looked familiar from the back.
Sergio knew that tiny build anywhere even when the man had his back towards him, those narrow shoulders, that voice, long hair, slim thick build, and those little legs moving so ridiculously fast beneath him as he ran away from them.
Or: 2006 Lionel Messi accidentally time traveled to 2026.

Philipp was a very small not-quite-eleven year old, the kind adults awwed at. They cooed even more at his toothy grin and his precocious cleverness.
The Sorting Hat barely had to touch his head before it screamed out SLYTHERIN, which, in retrospect, was a little unfortunate.
Philipp Lahm, Head Boy and pride of Slytherin House, decides to take an unpopular elective taught by mysterious new professor Josep Guardiola.

Summary
“I am sorry for what must have happened,” Pedri told him, meaning it. “I am sorry for the choices you felt you needed to make.”
“You will make the same choice, too,” Lewy said. “For your career. For the Ballon d’Or campaign that I suspect must be about to launch for you. To protect your … friend. You do not know yet that you will make that choice. You are still debating. Unsure. But there will come a day, inevitably, that you choose yourself and your god-given talent. And I’m here to tell you that when that day comes … it is okay. When you make that choice, you will have doubts and regret. You may even regret it for the rest of your life. But a talent like yours is its own justification. You owe everything to the potential in yourself. Your football is your gift to the world. You are not required to burn the world down and sacrifice it.”
There, Pedri thought. That is the difference between us.
“But I am sure," Pedri said calmly, "and I would burn the world down for him."
Or, Ferran and Pedri's new relationship reminds Robert Lewandowski of the love he once sacrificed for football.

Summary
He’s met with not a bathroom, but what seems to be a private room, the lighting dimmed but barely there enough to make out two figures. They were doing well… the standard thing people in private rooms do, and Leo is going to apologize profusely, close the door, and leave mortified until he gets a proper eyeful of just who he’s caught.
It’s Kylian. His outfit’s wrinkled, his expression winded, and he takes his hand off the other man’s waist faster than Leo used to hide his sweets when his dad threatened to cut them out of his diet as a kid.
“Sorry,” Leo says quickly, shoving the door closed so hard it slams. Fuck his life.
OR: the one where Leo finding out Kylian likes men accidentally leads to a very important conversation about motivation, careers, and the future.

“And,” Neymar’s voice goes softer, impossibly fonder. “He’s good.”
“Good? At what? At football?”
Ney shakes his head. “I mean, that too, but… he’s just good. He’s a good guy… In all the ways I’m not and then some.”
Kylian is stricken. He’s played with Ney for years, he’s grown up alongside him. The only other time he’s heard this loving, honey-sweet tone is when the man talks about Davi who is his literal son.
He thinks about it until he goes to bed later that evening.
Messi is good.
What is that even supposed to mean?
OR the one where, slowly but surely, over the course of two years, Kylian comes to understand Leo

Summary
The collision was hard and painful, and for a good four seconds, Thomas was out of it.
He came to the sound of his own name, pronounced with a particularly flat affectation.
“Müller. Müller.”
It was a string of sensations; a solid grip of hands on his waist and shoulder, turning him over, cold air in his lungs, roar of the crowd. There was a smudge of yellow and something green in his field of vision until finally, he could see a pair of icy blue eyes staring down at him. Lewandowski’s face was hovering above him, usual indifference replaced by a subtle expression of perturbed embarrassment, yellow kit stained in red in the front.

Summary
Kun's enjoying his cake so much actually, that he nearly misses the fact that Leo's not eating his. Kun freezes, cake jammed in his mouth, as he eyes Leo's plate from across the table. To anyone else it would appear that several bites have been taken, as the piece is cut in a few places and the frosting is mashed in as if pressed by a fork. But as Kun continues to watch Leo, continues to watch him talk to the others at the table, smile at their jokes, laugh as if he's enjoying himself... Kun sees Leo's fork play with his food.
And never, never, does Leo raise that fork and take a bite.

In which Sergio Ramos plan's backfired
--------
Sergio Ramos has a plan. It's simple, elegant, and foolproof: make his ex, Fernando Torres, jealous by parading around with the new Real Madrid recruit, Luka Modrić. Post some photos. Look cozy. Wait for Fernando to come crawling back.
It works perfectly. Fernando texts him. Fernando wants to meet. The plan is going exactly as Sergio intended.
There's just one problem.
He's been so focused on making Fernando jealous that he forgot about the dinner he had planned with Luka. And when he shows up to cancel—because he's not a complete asshole, just mostly one—he finds another man coming out of Luka's apartment.
Tall. Dark-haired. Speaking Croatian.
