Even in the dark, he could identify the shidi by his hair, but his voice was different. Quan Yizhen was standing by his bed and.. not climbing in. He sat up with fear, finally taking in the younger boy’s pained stance and the smell of blood. “Zhenzhen, what’s wrong?”
“I don’t know.” Yizhen’s voice cracks. “I woke up in blood and everything hurts.”
