Summary
Welcome to the world of Dishonored! The main plot is happening elsewhere, but if you read all these books and notes you find, you might learn something new about the world and the people in it.
Possibly things you didn't want to know.
Definitely things those involved wouldn't want you to know.
(Snippets of recordings, newspaper articles, letters and what-have-you written in-universe. Inspired by my own playthroughs of the game, questions I have about plot points, and just the general dark hilarity of the world the developers created)

Goofiness and nerdyness that rhymes. Sometimes, you just need to get a ridiculous idea out of your system. Old and new parodies and riffs to stretch my atrophied writing muscles, I make no promises as to the quality or merits of these pieces. Read at your own risk. Context included where available.
Absurdity Guaranteed (TM).

it’s a shoddy deal made in a shitty diner much too late at night: when you call, he will pick up.

Summary
Obi-Wan just wanted to dodge a terrible fate. Thankfully, a helpful Knight passing the Initiate wing gave him a tip about the Temple's form server. And then there was Quinlan Vos, one digital deep-dive later, a simple matter of proper paperwork snowballed into an administrative avalanche. It’s definitely gotten out of their control, but as the dust settles, the boys can at least agree: things are working out for the best. (Yoda, meanwhile, desperately wants a word with that Knight.)

Summary
When Qui-Gon Jinn arrives in Mos Espa, Anakin and Shmi aren't alone; they are accompanied and protected by guests – Leia, Luke, and Han, who happen to have the hyperdrive part Qui-Gon needs.
Leia, Luke, and Han died, but it doesn't seem to have stuck. It must be fate, or the Force, that the boy who finds them is named Ani. This is their chance to make things right. They can still save what they love. Hindsight is always crystal clear, and they have nothing left to lose and everything in the universe to gain.

Summary
You don’t have many memories of what happened directly before your carbonite captivity but you woke up with anger in your lungs and a snarl on your lips and that was telling enough.
War, it seems, is the only thing patient enough to have waited for you.
...
Waking up after 3 millenia is far more disconcerting than one would believe, especially when the Force is desperately trying to tell you something.
