Summary
“Well?” Verso asks, challenge in his voice and posture stiff. “What now?”
“Now?” Gustave blinks. “You, uh. You make a nest.”
He gestures to the bed, the blankets, the pile of cushions threatening to topple.
Verso stares at him.
“Like… a bird?” He sneers.
Gustave stares back.
“Merde,” he swears, under his breath. “What was Old Lumiere like?”

Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi is knighted the same week he buries his Master, and he doesn't survive the grief so much as haunt it — until a strange, impossible light leads him, feverish and half-conscious, across the galaxy to Serenno. To Dooku's door.
What follows is not the story either of them expected: a Jedi who has already begun trading with the enemy, and a boy who was never supposed to find him first.
(Or: how Qui-Gon Jinn, three weeks dead, reached across the Force to save the two people he loved most — from grief, from the dark, and from each other's absence.)

Summary
Qui-Gon reached out a trembling finger to brush the tear away, and in doing so he had the strangest sense of deja-vu. He blinked at Obi-Wan again; who was this man wearing his padawan's face? What had happened that had cracked his calm, competent apprentice's mask and shattered him back to into the youngling of old?
And why don't I remember any of it?
