He nearly leapt back in surprise, briefly concerned she was going to attack—those huntress eyes had been absolutely fixed on him a moment before—but she had moved too quickly for him (of course), flinging her arms around his middle and holding him tight against her body before he'd had a chance to fully react.
Erend looked down at the top of her head, blinking in astonishment, as though her fiery red hair were actual flames that had erupted across his chest.
Aloy hugs Erend for the first time. It freaks him out.
