It was in between songs that Dazai noticed a warmess, he ignored it at first, not giving up his relaxed aura so easily. It was only when the gentle warmth became a disturbing damp heat did he peer out one eye, scanning the room in search of a space heater or something similar that was left on, nothing.
He shifted uncomfortably in his long coat, noticing a sweat starting to form under his arms and on his back. He slipped it off and tossed it on the couch beside him. At first there was a wave of relief as the room’s air hit him, but the heat soon returned. It centralized on his face, warming his nose bridge and cheekbones like a bonfire, the breath from his nose burned his upper lip.

Summary
At 18 years old Dazai Osamu flees the Mafia to pursue a life under the light as a better man. Two years later, only a couple months shy of his 20th birthday, Dazai finds himself in a car accident that leaves him with retrograde amnesia. Now he must live through the chaos that comes with working for the famed Armed Detective Agency, all while struggling with regaining his memories and coming to terms with his past. Not only must Dazai deal with the resurfacing of past memories and traumas, he will also have to learn what comes along with being acquaintances with some of the most dangerous criminals in the underworld.
