Vi’s chuckle fades as she keeps eye contact with her sister, her hands not moving from her waist… her hands… are moving… her sister… closer.
The eye contact is too much for them so they each close their eyes, but their hands guide them. Vi pulls her closer, Jinx pulls her down.
Their lips touch, deliberately. They hold it for two heartbeats then let go.
“Umm, goodnight Jinx.” Vi doesn't open her eyes until she's turned down the hallway. She enters her room, closes the door behind her without turning, then slides her back against the door until she is sitting on the floor.
What the fuck just happened.

An arcane based AU story, in which in an unlikely scenario, Cassandra Kiramman has a gut feeling and intervenes in a key moment in history changing the story for the characters forever, it will drift from the cannon main story of Arcane, making a PAIR of unlikely characters become heroes, not only for Piltover and Zaun, but for even beyond the frontiers of the two cities and reshape the story of Runeterra and have lifes that should not have happened for them, or the others around them in any other world (fate had it in store for them in this one).

Summary
7 years ago an accidental explosion killed a young girl from the Undercity named Powder. This young girl’s sacrifice has shown Piltover the error of its ways and they now live in peace with their sister city. The Undercity and Topside united as one, the perfect Lanes family leading by example as they live and work Topside, their lives better than ever thanks to the council’s kindness.
…or at least that’s what everyone thinks.
Only one person knows what really happened the day of that explosion, and they aren’t a fan of this happy ending. Time for them to write themselves a new one.
