Columbina brings her own hands up to keep Sandrone’s in place on her cheek before speaking. “I… I’m not sure, really."
“Your key wasn’t moving, and neither were the gears inside you. My khuuvakhi was also telling me you weren’t alive. But you were unscatched, and I’m sure nobody got to you because I would’ve felt that.” She said.
“You looked as if you’d just passed for no reason.” She tightened her grip on Sandrone’s hands.
“And now, you’re back. As if nothing happened and you were simply asleep.”
Or; Columbina visits Sandrone just moments after Sandrone triggers Ronova's curse of death.

Sirena shakes her head, curling into her and twining their limbs together, soaking up her warmth. “Oh no, not at all.” She lingers there, letting out a pleasant sigh - like a cat basking in the sun. Another low purr rises in her throat, but she tamps it down, gently raking her long nails through Sara’s hair. “Quite the opposite.”
