I read a lot of fanfics but always feel like I'm falling flat on the descriptive side when I try to wright my own.
so here are words I have found eye catching when I read them in others works.
its not organized well, and has been more a personal collection for years, but i figured it wouldn't hurt to share.
not quit a dictionary and not quit a guide, and definitely not organised enough to be a library. welcome to my dragons hoard of words :)

Parents warn their kids to do their chores, or else a Nosk will take the face of their friends and lead them away to their dens, never to be seen again.
But what happens when that child is the Nosk, when a beast is granted sapience by what it believes to be the Pale King, unaware of it's deeper, darker heritage?
Will it find a place where it can belong, where it can help those it cares for?
Will that belonging last, if its nature is revealed?
She doesn't know, and she's trying to ignore how terrifying personhood is.

When the world falls apart, humans have to pick themselves back up and do something about it.
You were a nomadic type of person, moving from community to community as you worked on their solar energy and their robot workers. You were one of very few people who could do this work, you were very highly respected. Also, very highly sought after.
On your way home from helping a community, you’re being pursued by a gang of undesirable people and you had no intent of helping them.
Hiding in a building for the night, you happen across an old bot, seemingly broken. You decide to scrap it for parts, that is until the damn thing wakes up. Now you feel guilty about wanting to gut it’s parts. But what’re you suppose to do with a 9-foot-tall celestial robot? Take it home?
That seems to be what it wants.

Summary
After having a relatively normal coupled life for 2.3 days, Hornet and Lace are attacked by God Tamer and taken to the arena, where Lace has to fight Hornet’s seven deadly exes if she wants to save Hornet’s life. However, as she’s transported into different flashbacks about each mate, she learns good, bad, and strange things about the bug she loves. Also every character is on the ace-spec lol, this is basically a messy QPR-off (here’s to my Aces!). Updates irregularly.
