"Correct," Dokja lied.
The man looked at him up and down, and his little minion leaned in, saying none too quietly: "I think we can believe him boss."
Dokja's smile faltered. What did that mean?
"Alright," he spoke again, "Then, I shall trust you with this task." He clasped his hands together, leaning forward as if what he would say next could dismantle the entire Korean military. "By any means possible--be it criminal activity, flirting, touching, or God forbid..." he coughed, moving on, "It doesn't matter how... Figure out if my son Yoo Joonghyuk is gay."
Kim Dokja blinked.
...What was that saying?
Twenty bucks was twenty bucks?
Six months. Half a million on the line. A straight and poor liar pretending to be gay.
Yoo Joonghyuk. A prickly college student with an overbearing rich father and a face sculpted by gods.

Summary
Dokja's never been one to think ahead in life, but even this is way outside of his expectations. At the insistence of his old friend, Sangah, he'd packed up his life and moved to the town of West Egg, not realizing that would put him next to the most bizarre of neighbors, Yoo Joonghyuk. He'll just have to learn how to deal with it along with every other problem he has. It's a shame, but life never goes the way you plan it.
This is a The Great Gatsby AU. That being said, you don't need to know anything about TGG to understand it, especially since I've changed so much. I've also provided some quick context in chapter 1 to make it easier.
