“Gountess?” Rudo asked, half-expecting the all-consuming emptiness around them to swallow the word before it even reached the older boy in front of him.
The boy turned to face him, necklace swinging lightly over his shirt as he moved. Gear-patterned eyes met his own. “Yes, Rudo?”
Rudo hesitantly shuffled the few steps forward he needed to stand next to him. He needed to look up to meet Gountess’ eyes like this, but he didn’t mind. The endless white expanse seemed to eat everything around them. There was no echo to the words, nothing but absolute silence in their absence. Somehow, it was peaceful instead of alarming.

Summary
“You didn’t have any holidays like this up there?” Riyo asked him, propping an elbow up on the table and leaning her face on her palm, facing him. She pointed straight up with her other hand, clearly referring to the Sphere.
“Nothing like this,” Rudo said emphatically, gesturing vaguely even though this room wasn’t decorated like the mess hall or the town. They’d get the point. “Nothing that I’ve seen with decorations like you guys have here. Nothing so…colorful. And cheerful. Everyone out there today looked so… actually happy.”
Rudo gets introduced to a Ground holiday. It is entirely different to what the word holiday has meant to him all his life.

Summary

Summary
The news headlines featured their faces for weeks after their disappearance. To Izuku, it was a slap to the face that he knew a child at his age back then should never have received. He knew Kacchan got it too.
It's been eight long years. The heroes never came for them, and they probably never would.
And then the universe decided another slap to the face was in order.
(Or, Izuku and Katsuki are taken for their quirks at a young age, and now they're tasked with a mission that they don't know they'll be strong enough to see through.)

It’s a learning process, trying to acclimate to the Ground’s customs when all Rudo has ever known is the culture in the sky. It’s a learning process the other way around, too. The Cleaners want to know about him as much as he them.
It’s also a learning process trying to navigate it all without Regto. Somehow, the memories of his dad are still everywhere, even now. All he can ever do now is hold on to them and try to stay afloat.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku always wanted to be just like All Might. That is, until he watched the aftermath caused by All Might's forced retirement at Kamino Ward. Now he finds himself wondering if the Symbol of Peace is actually good for society. Why put so much pressure on the one person at the top that could fall at any time?
Todoroki Shouto was explosively reminded that he wanted to be a hero for himself and not to spite his father. Now he just isn’t sure what type of hero he wants to be. He definitely doesn’t want to be a hero like his father but trying to be like All Might doesn’t seem right either.

The fic where Izuku and Shouto separately decide to go into underground heroics. Hitoshi isn't sure what to think about the two with perfect limelight quirks going underground. Aizawa learns there might be a lot more to his students than he expected but is determined to make proper heroes out of them.

Summary
Over the course of one week, Midoriya Izuku sees his childhood friend turned bully face consequences for his actions, gets appreciated for his skills, acquires a boyfriend that sits right in front of him, realizes that his grumpy homeroom teacher is actually on his side, and tells Aizawa Shouta the truth about One for All.
All of that information, however? It's happening in the background. Follow our hero: Aizawa Shouta aka Eraserhead. Over the course of the same week, Aizawa looks into his Problem Child and his many contradictions in order to not see Midoriya Izuku and Bakugou Katsuki paired together for their upcoming final exam.
During this time, Aizawa learns things he should have known from the start, talks to a lot of people, drinks so much hot chocolate, loves his husband, feeds his cat, gets a shocking six hours of sleep, reflects on his past, and learns the truth about a legend passed through underground heroics for decades.

Ed didn’t respond. A tiny, hurt sound reached his ears, nearly drowned out by the rain, and he raised his head, finally turning to his subordinate, who had yet to get up from the ground.
The kid’s eyes were wide, usually bright, golden irises dulled by an unnerving haze, and glued to the man bleeding out in front of them; his tan skin had taken on a pale, sickly hue, a tremor shook his hands that he knew could have nothing to do with the cold-
