Not to brag, but Peter’s life is going pretty great.
His bullet wound is all healed thanks to some epic healing powers, Ned’s memory is restored by the power of the secret bro handshake, and things have mostly quieted down since Jean Elaine Grey blitzed through New York with all the subtlety of a… well… exploding tank.
Sure, there’s some grey areas… reforming the evil-then-not-evil-then-actually-evil ninjas from the Hand, the fact that he painfully chose to play supportive of MJ’s new relationship (man’s name is Paul, and the worst thing is that he’s really cool), and also Frank is off on vacation to find himself?
And as for Jean...
Jean looks at the blue chick. She’s not like Peter, where she cares about people and all that. But even a blind person can see how sad this lady is.
“I can help,” she says. “And when we’re done, if things go well… you can talk to me about that school again.”
OR: Finding a family is harder than it looks, even when you give up supervillainy or decide to stop self-isolating after five years of being a sad Spider.
