Summary
When a boy gets trapped in the Baxter Building fire, Peter must make a quick choice: let the boy die terrified in the flames or gain his trust by showing him what's underneath his mask. In the end, it's no choice at all.
But when that same boy shows up on the first day of senior year, Peter finds himself caught in a spiraling lie. The next thing he knows, he's got a boyfriend, he's starring in a musical, he's going to rich kids' costume parties, and he's realizing that maybe there are worse things than having someone know your biggest secret.
You'd think high school couldn't get any weirder than a radioactive spider bite, but that's just the Parker Luck.

“From one spider to another…” Miles bites off the end of his second slice of pizza, greased with cheese and black olives, and utters a warning through the decadent mouthful. “Expect an uprising in your classroom this month.”
The Spider-Men are upholding the tradition of splitting a pie from Eddie’s when patrol dies down. It’s a Friday night, he’s meeting up with Ganke later to be the first tester of his Speed Nonagon sequel, and Hailey invited him to check out her exhibit at Coney Island tomorrow. Life is good. So of course Tommy Jenkins would infringe by unwittingly questioning his spider privileges.
Peter drags another slice up and out from the pie, snapping the long, connecting string of cheese with a firm tug. “Ugh, I knew you guys had an unhealthy disdain for Newton. Never let it be said that gravity’s not an emotional force just as much as it’s an emergent one.”

After the Sandman attack nearly costs Peter Parker his new job at Brooklyn Visions, Miles Morales saves it by a thread.
Students are warming up to their new physics teacher. Until some suspect that he’s playing favorites.
