Summary
What happens when Gregory House, James Wilson, and the reader; three highly intelligent adults with the emotional communication skills of a malfunctioning MRI machine, develop feelings for each other?
Nothing medically advisable.
This is a collection of interconnected House M.D. imagines featuring questionable workplace boundaries, weaponized sarcasm, tenderness nobody wants to acknowledge, cat-and-mouse games, and enough unresolved tension to qualify as a workplace safety hazard.
There is no explicit sexual content, but expect suggestive themes. The characters ARE all adults, after all.
At its heart, this is a slow burn romance about three complicated people discovering this was never a love triangle; because nobody wants anyone to choose.
Most chapters connect, but some do stand alone, are alternate scenarios, or one of multiple possible endings to an earlier chapter. If something contradicts something else, congratulations: you've found the multiverse.

Summary

He can't fall apart, too many people rely on him being stable. How long can Wilson keep up appearances? How long until it's House's turn to pick up the pieces?

The room froze. Forks stilled. Wilson went pale, panic flickering across his face. House, by contrast, leaned back in his chair with an amused smirk, clearly entertained by the assumption.or, when Wilson’s niece comes out, his defense spirals into pretending he’s in a relationship with House, complicating the family dynamics before his nephew’s wedding.

Summary
House didn’t believe in powers of the universe or divine intervention, but when the beautiful young man he had been eyeing for the past two days got hauled off to the Orleans Parish jail in handcuffs, House considered reshaping his entire worldview. Maybe there was a god, and maybe he wanted House to meet those deep brown eyes and perfect cheekbones.
“I took care of it,” House said.
“Why?” he asked, sounding more annoyed than grateful.
“Why?” House repeated. He stopped and turned toward the man, did a onceover from head to toe. He then said, “I’m at a mind-numbingly boring conference. In the past 48 hours, you’re the only person here that’s kept my attention for longer than 30 seconds.”
The man raised an impossibly bushy eyebrow at him. “Are you hitting on me?”
