It was rare for any of the segments to lie. Withhold the truth? Constantly. Retell things as they saw it even if it wasn’t entirely accurate? Of course!
Straight up lying for even trivial matters? No, they all rarely saw a need and even then it was typically a joint agreement to do such a thing.
Which was why Gamma found himself gripping the pillow in his arms tighter than normal, forcing himself to keep moving. No nightmares had plagued him, only a restless sleep and memories of warm arms holding him, taunting him with their intangibility. So he’d stood, throwing the blanket to the side before waltzing out of his room as quietly as possible.
