Summary
Buck thought that a ladder truck falling on him and then him almost dying due to a blood clot was the worst thing that could ever happen to him. When he finds out that it's BOBBY that is keeping him from returning to his family, he decides that his only course of action to return to where he belongs is to file a lawsuit against the department.
Buck is miserable the entirety of the lawsuit, but he thinks at least it can't get worse than his entire pack hating him. Until he learns that he has cancer. And on top of that, he has to amputate his leg. And throughout everything, he has no one to turn to.
What happens when Eddie finds out what happened to Buck by accident when he runs into him when taking Chris to PT?

Buck looks at Eddie, and Eddie takes a breath. *Here goes nothing.* "What if Chris and I moved in here? What if we presented ourselves to social services as a couple? Like, romantically involved, committed to each other. It would show them we're a stable household with two parents. It would give Theo the dual household they're looking for without taking him away from you."
Buck's eyes widen, and for a moment he just stares at Eddie like he's lost his mind. "Eddie—no. No, that's—that's insane."
*I knew he'd say that.*
"Hear me out," Eddie says quickly, but Buck is already shaking his head."Hear you out? Eddie, you're talking about *lying* to social services. About pretending to be in a relationship. About—" Buck's voice cracks. "About moving in together. Do you understand how crazy that sounds?"
*It's not that crazy. Is it?*
Chris watches them, his eyes tracking between his dad and Buck like he's watching a tennis match. Except it's not a tennis match—it's two people who are so stupidly in love with each other that they can't even see it.Bookmarked by ArsenalJu91

Summary
It's Christopher's tenth birthday, so Buck uses that as an opportunity to take him, Christopher, Eddie and Carla on the trip of a lifetime to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Along the way they meet friends, have deep conversations and realize feelings for one another that they never knew they were harbouring, with the help of Carla and their new friends.
This has not been beta read, so grammar and spelling may be incorrect (and being from Britain it is very difficult to write in American English!). This is also my first 9-1-1 fic, so characters may act OOC.
