“Can we start yet?” Avery wonders, checking the chat and making sure the announcement is up, “I really want to get today’s stream started.”
“Go ahead,” Derek says, and Avery brightens up, “So! Today, we are doing a very intellectual activity, because we are educated and intelligent content creators-”
“We’re reading AO3, hide the weird stuff,” Derek deadpans, and the amount of chaos that one sentence generates is glorious. Avery cackles.
(streamer AU one-shot; they... yeah, it says it above. the first work isn't necessary but gives a bit of context!)

TheMostMayo: I'm coming over
TheMostMayo: unlock the door for me, ok? :P
The strange player that had found their way into Derek's Minecraft World -- then his house -- has become someone that Derek cares for. However, since New Year's Eve, he's become a lot more... pushy. Avery's harmless though, right?[I.e.: Avery is a little overeager, and maybe Derek has no sense of boundaries. They're perfect for each other.]
