Summary

The only thing keeping her sane is Arthur Morgan, a man by turns gentle and violent, bitter and sweet.
The longer she stays stuck in the past, the deeper in love she falls with her gentleman outlaw, the more she comes to question - who is she? Dr. Russell, historian? Or Miss Kate, camp cook?

Summary
Rumours of treachery reach Tortall through the wrong channels: smugglers, thieves and the Rogue’s court. Jonathan and Myles need answers before rumours become war, but the Crown cannot act with the Rogue - not openly, at least. Alanna is one of the few people who can move between both worlds, so, reluctantly, she sets off.
She finds conspiracy, invasion plans and Valek Icefaren, who may prove even more dangerous than anyone else. As enemies move against Tortall and Tortallan soldiers are trapped behind enemy lines, Alanna and Valek must fight a shadow war before Tortall is overwhelmed.
But war is easier to navigate than loyalty, and far easier than facing the people waiting at home.

Summary
I really just wanted to visit the filming locations of Dad's favorite Westerns and take a few photos with his old camera. Instead, I stumbled through a cave in the Alabama Hills and came out the other side in a world that looks suspiciously like Red Dead Redemption. Complete with a gang of armed outlaws who pretty quickly peg me as crazy, suicidal, or probably both.
One of them especially. A certain Arthur Morgan, whose patience with me is running distinctly thin. His faith in Dutch, on the other hand? Bottomless. For now.
See, I'm about six months early. Before Blackwater. Before pretty much everything I thought I knew. What I have that they don't: I know what's coming. Who dies. Who betrays who. Which decisions change everything — and which ones are better left unmade.
What I don't know: whether I have any right to change any of it. Or whether I'd just make everything worse.
