Forty-eight hours after Shawn went on his sleeping strike, he found himself sliding into Carlton’s sleek Crown Vic, chucking his stake-out bag into the backseat. He had made himself the biggest thermos of coffee he could and sipped it nervously the entire drive. An hour and thirty minutes of complete silence, something Shawn would normally find very easy to fill, but the presence of his object of arousal made even breathing almost impossible. Carlton seemed to appreciate the quiet, at least.
