   Summary

   He has been submerged for ages. He's been floating around so long he doesn’t remember why he’s there or when he was submerged. Maybe he was born here. Born to drift in the nothing and to die drifting in the nothing. Never once forming a thought or choosing a direction to swim. He didn’t even know if he could swim. All he knew was the all consuming substance that flooded every orifice and its heat. He could never forget its sweltering heat.
