No matter what Grace tries to tell him, Simon is very sure that the man is divine in nature. It just makes sense.

Simon winds up in The Enclosure, naturally. Grace is super down to have human company on planet Erid, but he really wishes someone would have given him a little bit of warning first. Especially about Simon’s religious cult upbringing — if he had known about that, he maybe could have planned a better-worded greeting that wasn’t basically, “Be Not Afraid.” He really set them up for failure with that one.

"Yes Grace, it's me you're okay, here." He takes my hand (I think?) and guides it towards his carapace. I can sense him through the mess of noise and now that the initial panic has lessened, I notice the input hitting me from every direction. I can see. Only I can't.
I know where I am, I can feel my surroundings… actually a lot better than I should be able to, but it's not visual. There's no colours, and the farther away the fuzzier the details get.
Wait a minute. I know what this is. It's echolocation.
I grip Rocky's carapace, panic forcing its way through me again. Thankfully Rocky seems to notice because he rushes closer, taking hold of me. I grab onto him like he’s my last tether to reality, and well, maybe he is. This just can't be happening. I'm dreaming, I simply must be. I tap one claw (yes claw) against the floor, and get a clear image of the entirety of the Hail Mary. Yup, sure enough… I'm pretty sure I'm an eridian.
