Summary
This is going to be a crossover AU between The Double/The Marriage of Di Daughter and The Pursuit of Jade/Chasing Jade. I will be making some changes to make this work, obviously, but the basic idea is that Ji Heng and Xie Zheng as cousins getting their revenge together and falling in love in the process. This will probably become a collection because I want to explore their childhood a bit as well.
Most of my research is from Wikipedia, ChinaKnowledge.de and various reddit or Tumblr posts I've come across by googling things. I was going to make a reference document on here but decided against. Feel free to (gently) correct anything egregiously wrong in the comments and I'll either cite my sources, explain my reasoning, or correct myself depending on the situation. Enjoy!

Summary
Modern College AU. When Song Yimeng transferred at the start of senior year, she planned to keep her head down and just make it through to graduation without any drama. The last thing she expected was to end up embroiled in a fake relationship with Nan Heng, the bad-boy heir to a weapons manufacturing magnate and a regular tabloids headliner. But the biggest surprise of all? That despite Nan Heng's horrible reputation and the fact that she should know better, Song Yimeng is having a really hard time keeping her hands off him.
