Summary
Three brothers are broken apart by their past, but manage to find one another again as they navigate their adult lives.
Courtland Gentry, ex-Sierra agent, older brother, trying to rebuild after years in the shadows.
Colt Seavers, stuntman, half of a whole, holding on tightly to the people he loves.
Ryland Grace, scientist, completion of the whole, caught up in something much bigger than he realises.
As the sun grows dimmer, and the Earth colder, a question must be asked. How far are you willing to go to stay with family?

Summary
'“So, about that hug?”
Rocky trilled and moved in much more gently this time, carefully wrapping two limbs around Grace’s middle and one up around his neck, claw resting on the back of his head.
Then Rocky felt two arms snake up to wrap around his carapace as Grace’s legs simultaneously folded in to bracket him on either side. Grace’s torso bent forward until his head came to rest on top of Rocky and -
Ohhhh.'
Or the classic "Grace needs a hug" fic but from Rocky's point of view.

Summary
Ryland looked down at his clipboard, where he had written a reasonable script, supplied earlier that day by Adrian. Unfortunately, the moment his eyes landed on the words, his brain supplied only terrible ways to say them.
He chose the worst one.
“I need flowers with prominent reproductive structures.”
The man went completely still.
Ryland could feel his soul attempting to leave his body.
“For a plant anatomy lab,” he added quickly. “For my students. Middle school students. Not–” He cut himself off, because there was simply no end to that sentence that would improve his situation. Instead, he just weakly smiled, and added “Science.”
-:-:-
Ryland Grace is brilliant with biology, awkward with adults, and far too invested in giving his students the lessons they deserve. Simon Fleischer is a guarded florist who trusts plants more than people and has no interest in being needed by anyone again. But when a forgotten school lab brings Ryland into Root & Thorn, their lives begin to tangle in quiet, unexpected ways – through flowers, roots, and the terrifying possibility of being cared for properly.

Summary
There is a hole in Ryland Grace's memory. It is dark, it is deep, and he stands at the precipice. He has two choices: stay where he is and ignore it. Or jump.
When it becomes apparent that Court and Colt haven't told him everything, and are avoiding certain eras, certain people, in their shared past, Grace must question how much he trusts his brothers to keep him safe, against the price of knowledge and truth.
It all begins with one single thought: 'I don't want to go home'.

Ryland Grace can come to terms with being tranquilized, crammed into an aluminum tube strapped to two million kilograms of astrophage, and launched into deep space only to find his soulmate waiting on the other side.
Being at the opposite end of that equation when it breaks the known barriers of special relativity is a lot harder to deal with.

Summary
Angels have blond hair. He never knew that. Or that they had hair at all. Maybe they don't—
— are the first thoughts that come to him when he was able to have thoughts again.
The creature above him is bathed in light, blinding and brilliant. The light smears the outline of its head into a pale golden blur.
The angel is speaking to him, he thinks. The thought is so absurd, Simon can only lay there and stare. He's vaguely aware of other noises around him - footsteps, the shuffling of a busy room and strange discordant melodies that sound like wind chimes shaking in the wind, overlain with a strangely human voice. Must be the angel.
The angel shifts above him and Simon notices a splotch of red close to it's head.
He frowns, tries to lift a hand and when that fails, he tries to speak. He has to warn the angel that there's blood on its halo. Simon hasn't believed in anything in a long time but in his delirium, can't resist the burning urge to correct this wrong. Angels shouldn't have blood on them, especially if it came from him.

Amazing characterization of Driver/Ryland + coltland sibling dynamics + Jody being amazing and supportive to the twins! Great pacing, substantial length that scratches that itch for the rare soft feelings between driver and grace + twins being vulnerable and codependent.

"Heh." Ryland ran his hand down his face. "It's terrible you know that it actually makes me feel better. What would I do without you?"
"Explode at a colleague at a conference and get expelled from academia and become a middle school teacher." Eva said, promptly.
"Wow, you've thought about that way too hard." Ryland laughed. "Middle schoolers might not vape in class, though. Maybe I should switch."
"Let's not joke."

When porcupinesarentreal said, "In a universe where Grace goes back to earth, he would absolutely kill it on Sesame Street."
or
Back on Earth, Ryland Grace discovers that surviving the impossible does not automatically tell you what to do with the life you got back.
Then Sesame Street invites him on to explain buoyancy to Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster.
What starts as a simple science segment turns into something gentler and stranger: a lesson about floating, about being held up, and about the quiet ways a person can begin to find their place again.

"Wei Ying is very good at growing things," Lan Zhan says and takes his hands, uncaring of the dirt. Wei Wuxian knows enough now to let him, knows enough that it is something Lan Zhan wants, almost needs, to stain his hands with Wei Wuxian like this.
And then later, as their scents mingle with each other's - Sandalwood and pine and lotus blooms, like a place where the mountains meet water, Lan Zhan splays his fingers across Wei Wuxian's stomach, whispers softly into the slope of his shoulders.
"Wei Ying is very good at growing things."
