Summary
Peter's hand snapped out and closed around the criminal's wrist before the drugs in his fist ever cleared his pocket, and in the exact same motion, without so much as turning to look, his other hand shot up and caught Frank's bullet out of the air, fingers folding around it like it was a baseball lobbed underhand. He tucked it into his belt pouch without breaking eye contact with the guy still frozen under his grip, and let out a short breath through his nose that was less relief than mild annoyance.
Or,
Frank Castle switched to mercy bullets around Spider-Man weeks ago and only Peter knows. So when Yelena and John Walker watch him catch one out of midair with his bare hand and look mildly annoyed instead of terrified, they have no idea what they actually just witnessed.Bookmarked by CheenRocks

Summary
It was early December when the buzzing started.
It had been quiet at first. Manageable. Non-existent with the mask on.
Spider-Man could go through his day like normal, Peter Parker would just have to wear the mask at home. It was fine. It was nothing, sometimes he had bad days and his senses flared a little. It was no big deal.

Summary
Peter never noticed how nice the noise his web shooters make is. A soft little click over and over as he raises his arm and pulls it back down. Gosh, his arm is tired, he doesn’t want to move it anymore. He lets his arm relax at his side and everything rushes upward suddenly.
Peter plummets to the floor and doesn’t realize he’d fallen at all until he opens his eyes to see a bunch of concrete splattered with red. Hmm… ow.
Noises skitter away from him in a herd, something says something and his head whips towards the sound because he knows it but he doesn’t know why. Dangerous, he shouldn’t be here he has to…
He has to go somewhere. Somewhere.
Or: I shoot Peter Parker with a gun.

Summary
Faces, Frank never knows much what to do with them. He can punch them, sure. Shoot them, even better. And here he is, looking at Peter’s – He’d liked it better before. Masked. A red gimp-suit kinda thing. Easier to talk to, to work with the masked vigilante. Spiderman. A not-quite human, not quite person-ed thing. And here he was, face bare, a kid. A handsome kid, and a sweet one, and Spiderman besides.
Post Brand New Day. Frank thinks about Peter's face. They work each other out.

Summary
Frank snatches the kid by the collar of the suit, red blue spandex stretching when he uses it to yank Peter bodily across the space. He throws him onto the bed, ignoring the small yip of pain from Peter’s mouth that turns into an incredulous gasp when the metallic clickclickclick rings out in the room at the tightening of the handcuffs.
They both stare at the police-issued steel now locked around Peter's ankle. The chain connecting him to the metal frame of the bed gives a melodic rattle when Peter kicks his leg.
“You can’t be serious.”
Frank doesn’t answer. He snatches the Spider-man mask, stomps over to his safe, tosses it inside, and slams the door shut.
alt; the aftermath of Peter healing from getting shot and Frank is scared of losing someone he loves again but is bad at showing it.

Summary
Peter's body instinctively moves to create distance between him and the overly flirty merc, even though he knows there's no point in trying. His back pushes further against Frank's chest. Frank, who, for some reason, has his nose buried in Peter's wavy hair.
They wouldn't go too far with this stunt, right? Frank is straighter than a ruler. Wade acts like that on a regular, but he backs off at some point. He knows not to let his fantasy run wild and hands wander. They need a simple reminder to snap back into reality and acknowledge how strange this whole thing is.
Peter braces his hands on Wade's shoulders. "Alright, I know I'm probably so irresistable when I'm half dead and sweaty as hell, but, uh, one at a time, guys."

Summary
Peter's spider-sense had fuzzed at the base of his skull a split second before the slap landed, a little polite tingle, and he didn't flinch. He didn't flinch, because this was Frank's boat, the safest place in the five boroughs—which was one of the weirdest sentences his brain had ever produced, but true.
The sting came first, bright and specific, a hot print in the shape of Frank's hand on his right ass cheek. Then the heat came after it, blooming down into the skin and sideways into his blood, and his cock, which had absolutely no business having an opinion about any of this, jerked against the couch cushion with total, unprompted enthusiasm.
Oh, Peter thought. Oh no. Oh no no no.
Or: Spider-Man gets hurt in a fight. Frank patches him up. And things get a little bit out of hand.

Summary
[SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY SPOILERS!!]
He told him about how they used to know each other, in some other life that’s now gone to everyone except for Peter. Ned was over the moon to learn he used to be friends with THE Spider-Man. Still, it’s not all about being friends with Spider-Man—or at least Peter hopes it isn’t. No, it’s just the fact that they get on so darn well. For Peter it’s like he never lost him, sometimes he can almost pretend he never made the mistake of asking Dr. Strange for that spell that eventually came back to bite him in the ass, he can almost pretend the three of them went off to MIT together and now share an apartment together and… and… And well, for Ned it must be more like he’s just found a person he instantly clicks with. Another person he instantly clicks with. He seems to have a lot of those. A big group of friends he made in college, drawn in by that eccentrically charming personality of his.
OR
Peter's on that daily grind of being Spider-Man and getting beat up every other day while struggling to regain a friendship that he doubts is even there anymore. Meanwhile Ned is just trying hard to be there for him even though Peter keeps pulling away.

"You got heart, kid." Steve says. "I can see you're a good person—"
"You don't know what I am."
The words tumble out faster than Peter intends, almost reflexively. As soon as he hears them resonate between them, he feels an unpleasant pang in his chest. Bitterness, anger, hopelessness.
He can taste his own misery like salt in the air.
Or: BDN!Peter ends up stranded in the past, during the airport fight. He kicks Team Cap's ass.
