Really, he knew that this was going to happen.
Rogers and Barnes left him in Siberia--helped by T'Challa if the sounds of a jet leaving were any indication--and he was stuck in a busted suit with no protection against the weather that was quickly stealing his breath.
He had no hopes of getting out of the HYDRA base and was close to accepting his fate when he stumbled (quite literally) upon something that would change his life, and the world, forever.
With a new mission, a new purpose, and some new abilities, he sets off on a search for the Infinity Stones.

Huh.... Interesting. This references a "next chapter" at the end but I doubt we're gonna get one considering that there's been nothing since 2019. Still, the premise is good and it does look like someone wrote something inspired by or continuing it at least. I'm off to read that one now. 😅
