Summary
When Din comes back to confront Luke about not teaching his son, it leads to an agreement being made between the two. Grogu would be brought up as a Mandalorian-Jedi. Leading to a relationship that changed the galaxy far more than they ever thought possible.
Luke discovers Din has a power that manipulates the Force in a way he's never heard of. Unfortunately, he decides to try to tell Din when "the right moment" comes. And the longer they're together, the more he realizes that moment has already passed.
Din deals with the burden of the Darksaber, and the voices laying inside it. He is haunted by the history of his religion that was kept from him. He wants the truth, but he will have to eat more lies before he can get to see that.
Both find that the galaxies' problems are far more connected than they ever thought. With crime syndicates on the rise and the Empire far from dead.
All this on top of the pressure their respective religions have placed on them, it's a lot to take on for two people.
Facing some of the hardest times, they choose to face their issues together. The question is, will they be able to overcome everything thrown at them? And if so, at what cost?

When Zuko was born, he was sick. He wasn't supposed to live. Everyone said it was Zuko's fate to die. Agni disagreed. Zuko was blessed with life. He lived, much to Ozai's dismay. When Zuko is banished, he does not look for The Avatar. He doesn't believe The Avatar is still out there. Then, while Zuko and Iroh are sailing around the South Pole, they see that brilliant light in the sky. Zuko knows, this is where his life changes.

Summary
Zuko nearly died after the Agni Kai with his father, so Iroh took him to a Fire Sage temple and prayed for mercy on him. Agni blessed him, and he left soon after, not to hunt for the Avatar, as his father "requested" but to avoid being used in war, as Ozai was sure to do upon the discovery that he'd been spirit-touched.
He went to the Sun Warriors, where he learned how to hone both his firebending, and how to use the powers given by the blessing. Add to that a dragon, and then he left for the Earth Kingdom "to find his destiny."
And then the Avatar comes back and he helps him and his friends steal from pirates, unknowingly of course. It's just all downhill from there.I couldn't write a summary if my life was at stake. Also story title from the Mitski song, 'Heat Lightning'

Her son’s soulmark, the one held closest to his heart, had a soft, golden glow peeking out from underneath the medical bandages. The glow seemed to become brighter, though not overpowering. Soft, comforting light. It reminded her of the sun, in a way.
As her eyes adjusted, she found she couldn’t have been more right.
Over her son’s heart spells the name Apollo, in gold cursive. The font shimmered, almost glittering as her son shifted on the bed. Every stroke of every letter seems purposeful, carefully branding her son. Out from behind the name is the image of a sun. A lyre is also depicted, and if Sally pays close enough attention, the strings seem to move slightly, as though someone is playing it.

A rich pot of gold, thats how he would describe it. Like gazing at molten treasures.
Before, it had been the brightest of blues that caught his eyes before being ripped away. Now he can only hope and cling to the warmth that he sees and pray, pray that this warmth isnt stolen from him like the waves of the sea had been.
Sokka had already fallen for the moon, so it wasnt a surprise that he fell for the sun as well.
If only he knew just how connected Zuko was to Agni and her rays that followed his every step, bending to his will and trailing from his hands both with care and the ferocity only a seasoned soldier would know.

Apollo was having a perfectly good morning- right up until he vomited down the side of the sun chariot. Which was incredibly strange, if you asked him, because gods simply do not get sick.
As if that weren’t strange enough, an unintended meet-up with Percy Jackson in a Target parking lot revealed that the demigod was hearing prayers- something that Apollo was actually not responsible for, despite what Percy seemed to think.
Apollo didn’t need his prophetic powers to know this was going to be a looong day. But hey- at least he got to spend it with Percy. (Which, naturally, improved things considerably).
