Summary
These are all one-shots in which Bruce went to therapy instead of becoming Batman. Some of them may be related, I'll mention that in the notes if that's the case.
Some are alternative universe fics in multiple ways, like No Capes+Reverse Robin. All are self-indulgent and feature mainly Bruce with Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian because they are the ones I feel most comfortable writing. All other relationships like Dick/Wally will be listed in the tags.

Asking Robin had been her last hope, but Robin hadn't been able to give her a place to stay, instead he's asked somebody else... and now Stephanie Brown is heading to New York to start an entirely new chapter in her life.
She didn't really know Nightwing, she could only hope he was more welcoming than Batman had been to having a Spoiler in his city...

-If Janet Drake’s body hadn’t been unrecoverable, Tim could have just buried her in Gotham, followed her notes, done the ritual, and he would have had her back alive again. She’d be ecstatic! All her research, all her theories about the mysterious life-bringing properties of Gotham’s soil, confirmed!
But she dies far away, body lost at sea, and all Tim has left of her is an empty basement full of her research, all for nothing...
But it’d be a shame to let his mother’s work go to waste... wouldn’t it? And Jason Todd’s grave is right there, in his neighbors’ family graveyard...

He slowly moved the beam of his flashlight in a careful circle around him.
A gasp ripped from his chest when the light shone on a deathly pale face not a foot away from him. He was barely able to catch himself before his hands could strike out defensively. The intensity of his startlement caught him off guard.
The child before him appeared worryingly frail, with an ashen pallor to the skin drawn taut over their small frame. Dark, matted hair hung in damp clumps to nearly brush the top of their shoulders. Hidden somewhat behind their rugged fringe, their eyes–their eyes–
Bruce clamped down on whatever primal fear kept trying to steal the air from his lungs.
The child’s eyes looked directly at him, their wispy brows pinched in a small frown. However, in a manner determined to make his skin crawl, the grey fog blanketed their pupils, one he recognized from corpses.
He carefully tucked his initial reactions from behind one of his many masks and quickly lowered the flashlight.
“Hey there,” he said, slowly easing to his knees. “My name is Bruce. Are you alright?”

A blur of red and blue, the scent of ozone filling the air, and the man was suddenly wrapped in the bola Batman had dropped. Spitting furiously, the man swore to heaven and hell as Superman set him down near the other two.
Batman huffed, easing from his defensive stance, his ribs throbbing. "I had it—"
"Handled, I know," Superman finished, his voice tight. He stood up straight and turned to face Batman, one hand clutching his side. The same side as—

"Yeah," Superman grimaced. The dim light of the alley mostly hid the discomfort on his face, but it echoed in the hunched up shoulders, the careful gait, the clenched fists. "You going to take care of that?"
Batman was well-versed in ignoring the signals sent to his brain from most injuries. But seeing it, his own pain reflected in someone else — his partner —
Right. Bullet. Bleeding.
A staggering vertigo washed over him, but he didn't fall. Two arms wrapped around him, careful of the wound, just as his knees buckled.

Summary
Initially, Bruce had spent the next three days in bed, haunted by the young boy he saw and the young boy he had been. In those days in the dark, a thought had occurred to Bruce. Perhaps the best way to heal himself was to help heal those around him. He signed up for foster care and started training, and by some miracle, his first foster child had been the very same young boy from the circus. Richard Grayson- or as his parents had called him, Dick. Or sometimes Robin.
Which led to the furniture store.

She just can’t help herself.
Tim's parents suck, and Selina finds herself on the right rooftop at just the right time. And then she just can't seem to let go of that scrawny little kid.
